News to this board, but it's actually been a week or so since it happened.

Note he is ranked 18th best high school football player in the nation.

I have nothing but optimism over Zook. Granted as a State we dont put out the talent of a Florida, Texas or California still we are Illinois and we are an upper echelon State as far as producing High School talent and now that we have Zook we can also bring in the recruits coast to coast. The way I see it the ball is in Zook's court not neccessarily to go to a bowl within a year or 2 but rather to show continuous improvement towards respectability...then the bowls (and recruits) will come.

Orange, just to clarify Wilkins is the 18th best wide receiver in the nation. He is not listed in the top 100 over all. However still a great catch for Illinois and thanks for posting the info.
