Illinois football games like this don't come along very often. To be so badly outplayed in the beginning and then completely take over every aspect of the game and come back from 20... it's simply a great day to be an Illini.

More to come from me later but I'd just like to say that the today we lived the dream and its all because of Ron Zook and his spirit of believing.

Going to celebrate!

The part that really got me excited was seeing Ron Zook run up and down the field screaming the entire game. You have to believe in a coach like that.

Unbelievable comeback by the Illini. Brasic got better as the game went on. This team has heart and determination, you could tell by the TD by EB Halsey. That leap was amazing. But the one thing I don't like is the 18 rushes by Brasic, that's a good way to get injured. Hopefully he doesn't do that every game.

1. After we got the rust off of us, the offense actually looked good . . . not great but good. I love the option, and Brasic has an arm. I was glad to see that Zook kept making him throw and that Brasic responded. He is going to have to keep throwing, especially when the opponent is Iowa or Ohio State.
2. Great day for the Big Ten as well. I believe all the Big Ten teams won, even Northwestern who destroyed Ohio.
3. Zook is insane and I love it. He was running and screaming up and down the sideline from the opening kick off to last touchdown. I don't believe I ever saw Turner do that but that was exactly what this team needed and they responded.
4. Defense gets a C, the only reason that they don't get a D is the red line defense we had. It was incredible because as many times as Rutgers got in the 20, we definetly stopped them the majority of the time.

Adrian Wojnaroswki's article is beautiful on so many levels. It's nothing but vile disgust and pomposity. I'm going to try and keep up with his articles throughout the year if they find a way to speed up their slow-loading website.

They're beating Cal next week. Cal's QB is out 3 months with a broken leg, their backup was 0-11 against Sacramento State, and their 3rd stringer is a converted FB. Jeff Tedford might be a QB genius, but they are in trouble.

That would make us 3-0...I agree it's not difficult to project that record now,... even still we gave up 500 yards and couldn't get a turnover to save our lives. It's hard not to argue against only 4 wins this year because the Big Ten is even Biger Tener than usual.

San Jose first, people. They beat us a couple years ago and I'm sure they would love to be 2-0 at Memorial Stadium this decade. That being said, 3-0 is very possible.
