Well I hope you werent' expecting a Big Ten title this year because I'm pretty sure we threw that out the window last week in Iowa City. While clearly a much better effort than MSU, it was still pretty bad. Reda failed to connect on 3 fields goals, and the offense has serious issues moving the ball. The defense improved, but as expected the Hawkeye's were too much to handle. The Hoosiers though should be a much easier game. Indiana is coming off a 42-24 loss at Wisconsin, and appear to be on their way to becoming the real thing. If we can still one out during their homecoming, I will be very happy to return to .500.

Zook will have us ready for this one. Indiana is a decent team, but we're going to play well.
Illini 20 - Indiana 16.

Also I think it will be a huge boost of confidence for the defense to have a game where they give up less than 30 points.

To review, here are the 4 plays that killed us-
The onside kick we recovered but was given to IU.
The late INT in the 1st half.
Our long TD reception that was called back. He may have gone out-o-bounds, but it was not inconclusive proof using ESPN+'s Sony Handycams on replay.
Brasic's bad fumble in the 4th after picking up the big 1st down on 3rd down.
Not that it helps any, but having just one of these plays not go against us may have put us in a better chance to win.

Didn't get a chance to watch the game but from what I heard, it wasn't as bad as the score led some to believe. That being said, this season was meaningless from the beginning and I believe that when Zook gets more talent in, we will be in great shape.
