That has to be a river town, or at least near a coast. Guessing east coast, since more west coast towns don't look like that. It's probably small. Providence, RI?

If we are moving further and further away from the actual city with these guesses, that should be of tremendous help.

Speaking of skylines...check out Chicago's new look for 2009 with the Fordham Spire which will be the tallest building in North America at 1,458 feet and 115 stories. Floors 1-20 will be stores and a hotel, above it will be all condos and they start at $1,000,000 for a 1000 sq ft unit which means i will be staying in Moline.
