Fighting Illini football practice was delayed nearly two hours today
after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on
the practice field. Head Coach Ron Zook immediately suspended practice
while police and federal investigators were called in to investigate.

After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the
white substance, unknown to the players, was in fact the goal line.

Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely
to encounter the substance again.

if i can toot my own horn id say i nailed this one...wish they could have went out on a winning note but i still think this loss was an improvement based on the fact that they got in the end zone 3 times and held a high power NW offense to under 40...still alot of work to be done but we cant begin to pass judgement on Coach after 1 season at the helm of what was already a bad program (sorry to be so blunt but facts are facts)
