****Sidenote****

We are giving away Final Four tix on our station Mix 94.5. It will be on Selection Sunday at Fat City. We are pre-qualifying people now on our Big Ten Express promotion, but will have some on the spot walk up qualifiers that day as well. so if you are out that day, in need of some oat sodas, and figure you have a slight chance to win some FF tix, might be worth a stop. I think you will have like a 1-70 shot if qulaified. Better odds than the lottery, worse odds than going deaf from me yelling if we don;t lock up the number one in the Midwest region.

I think you will have like a 1-70 shot if qulaified.So wait, what do you have to do to get a shot at qualifying? And if you qualify, what are the odds that you get the tickets?

Not that I'll be there, but you know I'm curious :D

Well since our station is 94.5. We will pre-qualify 94 people. Every game we do a bus trip known as the Big Ten express. There are many bars in town that do this, we started it before I got here in the 90s. So this year we decided to change it up a little to seperate us from the pack.

We have everyone meet in a parking lot (a car dealer), then hop the bus and do a sort of bar crawl on the way to the game. We might even just rush into one of the bars that has another station promotion going on (which is kind of fun).

We have 40 people on each bus, this year 6 of those riders on each bus will go into the running for Final Four tix. Plus qualifiers from the car lot who bought the promotion (gotta spiff the moneymen :D ), a few people will qualify on-air. The rest will be selected from walk up registation the day of the promotion (selection sunday) we'll just draw about 10 names at random. Since no promotions ever get a 100% turnout (even when we have given away cars etc.) I think we should end up with about 70 people in the final drawing. Not too bad of odds from Final Four tix, and hotel accomidations.
