As if the radio spot wasn't enough. There seems to be quite a bit of FAIL surrounding this promotion.

Yeah I got the e-mail. The poster says the the tickets go on sale May 15, then says to "order TODAY!" This whole end zone ticket sale has been a confused mess.

I know the release sez "May 15" but I can see people glossing over that and simply heading to purchase the tickets.

Why today with this release? And why include the "Buy Tickets" link in the release now when they're not even on sale?

This is all so very misleading.

Picked up 2 horseshoe tickets. 114, Row 36.

Football team seeks full house

Only one school in the Big Ten has a cheaper-priced season ticket. Purdue sells 7,000 seats for $98. It is the first year for the $98 seats, which Purdue ticket officials think will be gone in a hurry.

Illinois continues to push season tickets in the main grandstands. A year ago, the school sold 35,000 season tickets overall. Heggemeyer hopes to see a bump in the number for 2012.

Four years ago, the school was at 46,000 season tickets.
