With some former Illini on the team, and tying into my theme of premature analysis

what do you all think about several magazines and websites picking the Texans to win it all?

They are a good team, and with getting Matt Shaub back, they are going to make a good run at it as long as they stay healthy. They have too much talent not to make a serious run at it.

It seems like Houston is a hot pick going into almost every season. Then like clockwork they crap out into a 9-7 to 7-9 finish. I don't see this year being any different.
