From BCS post (http://es.pn/MNpHvx) ... expect to see 6 games in rotation for semifinals. If 12-year agreement, each game hosts 4 times.

Key elements in consensus: selection committee and semis inside bowls. SEC, B12, C-USA wanted neutral sites. Deal breaker for B1G, P12

Two most evolved elements here are basic model (4-team, seeded) and selection committee. Must work more on access, revenue distribution.

Expect committee to be around 15 people. Could reveal a poll in Week 8 (like initial BCS standings) that gives idea of what they're thinking

Rose Bowl keeping traditional date (Jan. 1) and time slot (5 pm ET), whether it's a semi or not. Other games likely on Dec. 31 or Jan. 1.

Quick question...does this also get rid of the rest of the bowls or is this just in addition to the rest of them?

Rest of the bowls will be there.

I'm curious how spots for the current BCS bowls will be assigned. Of course Rose will be B1G/Pac 12, but the other three not sure how they'll be assigned when they aren't the semifinal games.
