If he loves this drama and keeping everyone in suspense, maybe he will go for the school that would provide more shock to the football world. That being us!

I do wish he would just pick though, I'm not a big fan of all this pomp and circumstance but it's what these kids love.

I just don't think he understands how big he would be here. He would immediately be the "go to guy" for several years.

Bryce Douglas is now listed as a 3* on ESPN. Was he always? I feel like he was unranked across the board when he committed, so it's good to see him get recognition.

I dont understand the need to always go to the top schools where they may not play for a couple of years? He has to understand that he will play from day 1 here. I wish some of these kids understand that.

Maybe being part of a winning team and program are more important to him and he believes he can get that at Michigan but has doubts about Illinois. We are going to lose kids for that reason alone until we start proving that we can win consistently. Unfortunately, that is just where we are as a program even though some of us have great confidence in Beckman's ability to turn it around. You just have to hope you can convince enough of the better players of the same.

At least there is something to talk about. This thread was dead for about a day! A whole day!

Does anyone else think that maybe Bailey not camping with some of these higher profile kids has hurt us in recruiting them? Not that I am blaming him, just seems like when these kids camp together they get a chance to know one another(hopefully like Spearman & Biesel)

I think there may be a chance we see Day at WR. Just a hunch.

No, because he's still made a lot of visits to Illinois when guys have come in. Sure he's not going out to other places and having a big presence out there, but he's still putting in a lot of work on campus when guys visit

It's no surprise that Michigan is his favorite, but he's always tweeted in a cryptic and confusing way so I really don't see how any of the stuff he said this morning proves anything at all.

Don't over analyze it (remember how Mosely was going to Vanderbilt because he followed two of their coaches on twitter?) When he commits you'll know it. Let's wait and see before getting all depressed.

Not that it means anything, but he's also wearing a Michigan lanyard in the pictures.

Mike Farrell said he might commit this weekend. That doesn't mean much, I don't think. Maybe it does.

I asked @SuccessfulQuon if he was planning on announcing his decision soon, and he replied, "I'm not sure." #waitinggame

Now @SuccessfulQuon tells me his decision is indeed coming soon. #team134

He's all over the place. There's a good chance he'll commit to Michigan eventually, but who knows?

Still a long way until signing day.

Sarah Hughes: another bigtime Michigan homer

She's "media" but has been practically recruiting him the whole time.

Has Illinois' scout or rivals sites interviewed a WR recruit other than Treadwell and Matt Harris?

Someone needs to tell Treadwell (if you have twitter then go do it.. ) that it's "Team217" not "Team134"

Kind of makes me wonder what sort of negative recruiting is going that he'd turn down a home-state spread offense where he'd be the target of 50% of the passes to go up to scum-land to block for a running quarterback and fade into irrelevance.
