Seriously, how long does it take to redesign a uniform?

Yep. I'd like to think we could do better.

The rebranding has more to do with the approval process for a lot of this stuff, and they're probably lumping a few sports together into this at once, so If the unis won't be ready before next season then you're not going to change mid season entirely.

It is just nice to see us doing something (anything) to market the program rather than just doing everything on a budget (translation: cheap). I believe Thomas is on his way to growing the brand and the revenue stream. It certainly feels like he is trying hard to make us compete at a high level in everything. Count me as excited!

I don't have a problem with logos and uniform changes, but they are just window dressing. Thomas's ability to grow the brand and the revenue stream is totally tied to Beckman and Groce.

Beckman and Groce are a big part of it but it is a full package. If you listen to what Thomas is doing it includes the window dressing, game day experience, making teams better, dog and pony show, etc. It is going out and getting people excited about the program, providing a great experience and then winning.

MT!!!!! RG did not lift a finger. Or did he?

All schools depend on one of those two sports. Not much alternative out there.

MT is the diff.

I have a feeling we will pretty much know what the uni's look like well before 2014. In my opinion, they should have options and let the student body pick. That's the age group we're aiming for anyway, so they can decide what looks best. Great marketing too.

Great in theory, almost always a disaster.

You give them 4 options, the vote will be like 35-30-20-15, and 65% of people will not like the uniforms.

^^ I agree ^^

the coaches and DIA should have the team captains and "leaders" from each recruiting class and let them help decide.

They have to wear them, they should get the most input.
