Watch for the slow motion replay at the end of the video. The parents both lean away from the ball (hit by A.J. Pierzynski), leaving the kid exposed. Thankfully, he was hit in the stomach (on a ricochet, I think) instead of the head.

What kind of parents are they? I'd probably knock over my own kid to get to the ball myself.

I thought this was gonna be bad... kinda entertaining. Theres no way that hurt bad (maybe)... good story for when he grows up. I would like to think the one of the parents would go for it.
