And for the record, I predict Tate does quite well and may rise to greater heights than DJAX in the long run. But, DJAX will be home, in a comfortable setting, and will earn a nice degree nevertheless. I wish nothing but the best for both DJAX and Tate. They are both kids, living their dreams, and we should honor any kid who is able to accomplish that.

That's what I was thinking.

What do you mean by greater heights? I am glad that we have a PG committed, but I would be lying if I said it wasn't Jackson. Jackson is clearly the better professional prospect and it's not even close. There is no way to project stuff like this, but the NBA PG position has moved away from the facilitator role of old. For every Steve Nash there are many more PG's that have an attacking scorers mentality.

As of right now, the two aren't in the same class and it is foolish to say that Tate has a higher ceiling than Jackson at this time. Down the road, maybe, but not right now.

For no particular reason I think XRM will pick UI. There are plenty of reasons both ways, but that's just my gut feeling.

P.S. Don't put any money on that, because I sure wouldn't!

P.P.S. I am already very happy with our 2013 class as is. If we can get Colbert, I will be extremely happy with it. If we get XRM, it's pee in your pants time.

Agreed, and I think we will.

Pardon the spellings but the facts remain true. Not sure what you mean by "fixed your usage of leans, before you had Ellis leans?"

Either way, the point is "leans" have been predictive so far which does not bode well for us.

If that was the case, Groce would not have offered Moore in the last week or so. So you are saying that if Colbert goes elsewhere, Groce will then turn around and withdraw an offer he just put out there? Then why offer in the first place?

They were 3rd in the ACC last year behind NC and Duke. They only average 69.9 ppg which is somewhat uninspiring for an offensive minded player. They won the ACC tournament last year. FSU has a plethora of 3 and 4 star guards that could limit XRM's freshman PT.

So, it's should not be a slam dunk for FSU if he bases his choice on style of play and available PT.

I kind of wonder what is special about the 13th for him.

Well, I agree we would take him, but it's completely reasonable to offer and say if someone else commit the offer is withdrawn. Especially if you have all available scholarships spoken for.

Not real sure. Canadian Thanksgiving is on the 8th, so maybe he's just doing it while he goes up to Canada to see his family?

According to Joe Henriksen's twitter,

"According to Bolingbrook coach Rob Brost, star senior Ben Moore has eliminated Missouri and moved his visit to Illinois up to Oct. 12"

Everyone thought Bracey Wright was the better prospect over Deron Williams. Everyone thought Marcus Liberty was going to be a lock NBA superstar. Quit calling me foolish for thinking that Tate can equal, or even exceed, what Jackson does in his basketball career. Tate had a down year last year, but was once a top 50 recruit, when Jackson wasn't on anyone's radar. Sure, Jackson had a great past year, but who's to say Tate doesn't have a better year next year. Here's to hoping...anyway!

Me thinks Groce will be making a call to Colbert on a decision this week or he will lose the scholarship from the future B1G champs.

Absolutely. But that was not the scenario being described by the poster.

It wouldn't mean that - XRM is independent of Colbert/Moore.

So it's down to us, SMU and CSU for Moore? I like our chances with this group. If moore commits on his visit, and XRM commits on saturday afternoon...we could be in a predicament with scholarships.

There has to be a reason he moved his visit to the day before XRM is suppose to commit. JG had to put a short offer on the table... ...
