With Crawford committing, we have had someone have St. Thomas Aquinas in commit in three straight years. (James Crawford 2013, Dami Ayoola in 2012, Justin DuVernois in 2011). Hopefully we can continue getting players from this school.

I like that trend. A good school to have a pipeline to.

I would think so, yes.

I also don't think Timmons can say no to Florida if the offer stands when he decides to commit.

I agree this is probably true. I have been down on the state of our program. I do think it would be better for a player like Timmons to come to Illinois with unlimited opportunity, instead of back up at Florida. I understand it probably won't happen. But WR is the slot someone can come in and claim here. They can star early on.

Reminds me a bit of Raph Andrades from Tallahassee, FL Lincoln HS last year. Guy who had a lot of "Kentucky" level offers, then Florida swooped in last minute when they lost a guy or two and snagged him.

Yep, good call. I'm not sure if Timmons is being use as leverage for florida to pressure other wr to verbal though. We'll see...
