The first time I heard this story, it was a 16. Then it was widely reported at 14. Now it is 12. At the rate his score is dropping, by the end of this season, he will have misspelled his name on it and gotten a 4.

I attempted to tip off the staff to an under recruited back near me, no dice. We'll be hearing from him at Iowa in a couple years.

I know Sean Hussey isn't going to make much news on here but here is the local paper writeup on it:

It is nice to see a young man live his dreams and play for his state school.

A couple thoughts post signings, prefaced with I might be back here for some humble pie. First I think this class is underated across the board. Thou I sa w agood looking rb with an arm that could make any throw I have reservations about Bailey until he proves to can make his reads and go thru his progressions. That said he have in my opinion six 4* quality recruits, with 3 or 4 more with enough upside to be the equivalent of high 3*. I don't think they missed on anyone they landed. So let see how they coach them up.
Second watched the tape on the two walks Hussey is preferred and sad to say wish he wasn't if that meand hs get a schollie the following year. While very accurate I saw nothing showing his ability to make enough of the required passes to compete on a big stage the BIG. Last edited by calibear; Feb 7, 2013 at 01:01 PM. |

Out of curiosity, did Ruben Dunbar or Dalton Keene sign with a school? Both of their profiles on Scout don't have them signed or committed to any school. If either signed, which school did they sign with?

Reuben Dunbar did not. Rumor is he's going the JUCO route.

ESPN's recruiting has him listed as a signee. Odd that we didn't hear about him. Although this article from a week ago mentions he committed to Illinois St. http://www.pantagraph.com/sports/col...ment_form=true Probably just a mix up. Someone saw "Illinois" and didn't notice "State" or it could have just been that Illinois state is right next to Illinois alphabetically and whoever was updating the website mis-clicked. |

This is from Illinois State's website. It a description of all of their signees, which includes Will Pretty. I am pretty sure he signed with them because they couldn't talk about him without his LOI. |
