I hope he grows a lot in the next year if he's coming here. But I still would be very surprised to see him play in the big ten. He could be pretty good in the MAC though.

That's ridiculous. You do realize that no one at last year's NFL combine had a 40 time that was that fast?

I wouldn't take 4.3 as 4.30. I would also like to see an official time and not just word of mouth as it was presented to me. I wouldn't take it as gospel, just what I was told. Sorry if I muddied the waters a bit.

You would be lucky to find a legit 4.4 from a HS kid let alone a 4.3 or 4.39.

Legit 4.4 in HS is elite type speed. Rule of thumb is whatever kids say they run, add about .1 to the number (ex. 4.5 = 4.6)

If they've never been laser timed then add .2-.3 for the laser. Add the other .1 for the actual embellishment from the kid.

We took, I believe, two two star OL and a 3 star OL...We need more OL...Talented OL...

Exactly. AJ Jenkins ran a 4.39 at the combine and he had blazing speed:

If Josh is a legit 4.5, that is impressive. Saying that he is 4.3 to 4.39 means that he would be one of the fastest players in the nation for the class of 2014, which is hard to believe.

Kendrick Foster had a legit 4.47 time at a combine:

Anybody read the article on DiLauro about him bulking up? Seems he could be a good one, just wondering what else was said.

Too bad. I would like to get a tall QB with some skills to develop at Illinois. I am a believer in taking a QB in every class, so I am interested and hopeful they find a quality kid that they can develop at QB in 2014 as well.

Didn't a lot of people say that about our top commit in our 2013 class?

No we sort of had an idea he was interested very early on.

They like a kid from Arkansas named Jabe Burgess. I think Joey Duckwoeth could be offered eventually.
