As far as the investigation.......... forgetaboutit. Weber is gone and we've moved on.
Why put the school in the spotlight and appear like a brat? Then again, why extend a contract (Weber's), and later pay someone (Weber) $ 3.9 MILLION. Duuuuh !!! Think about that question when you make your next tuition payment.

I'll qualify my brief comments by the fact that I didn't read McColley's "investigation," I didn't want to give him the hits. But my take -- you can dislike Weber or his comments all you like, but nothing Weber did would rise to the level of violating the morals clause in his contract, and McColley would be hard pressed to find any court decisions supporting his view on that one. As for the secondary NCAA violations, Weber's contract specifically says that he can be terminated for cause for major violations. Oops, McColley must have missed that part. As to any comments Weber made after he was terminated, I'm not aware of Weber entering into any non-disparagement agreement with UI, either before or after he was terminated. So that's really a non-starter. Weber can dump on UI and/or Thomas all he wants.
