In the long term, rank-and-file millionaires stand to lose far more from Ryanomics than the rest of us.

One of the things that frustrates me most about our stubborn political paradigm is it makes people so blind to the fact that we're all in this together.

I think the Paul Ryan choice was a good quality pick. He is not only an intelligent person, but he also has avoided demonization attacks against political opponents, which I view has a plus. Overall the main topic this election go around is the economy, and debt issues. We want to avoid the same fate Europe is experiencing. We need to see our economy grow at a faster rate, make new products, create new jobs. And few are more knowledgable in Congress than Paul Ryan about our nations economy.

It will be interesting to see how the debates go from here. The Obama camp from this point has done what they can to avoid talking about the economy and the nations debt, despite how serious the problem is. I imagine to some extent that is likely to change at this point.

Thought Doug Power's had a nice write up on Paul Ryan being a good pick for the Romney team.

I don't know if Ryan's plan will work, no one does, but the current path that Medicaid/Medicare is following won't work, so I'm open for trying something new.
I agree completely, the point most people seem to not want to see is if something isn't done there will come a day when with no warning everyone will lose there entitlement benefits because we will be out of money, we need to save these programs now not just ignore the problem.

Ryan is fine. Selecting a VP can lose votes but typically doesn't bring a lot of them on board. Last time I checked the VP don't make a whole lot of policy. Depending on the President he may advise but it is the President's call in the end. Unless Romney was already sold on Ryan's medicare plan it isn't going anywhere.
