Tom Izzo continues his tradition of recruiting football players, locking up Kenny Kaminski from Ohio:

I am hoping this can only help with Shaw but who really knows. |

This seemed to be expected, in fact; if memory serves correctly a lot of Sparty fans were expecting him to sign at some point last month. As the previous posts have stated, I hope that this pushes Shaw into an Illini uniform.

Yep, he's a classic Izzo recruit. He's a 3/4 tweener who has range on his shot and can mix it up inside.

ok I saw something ridiculous posted on maybe the Indiana Scout board saying he was up to 6'10" 260 lbs, but I thought that was wrong. Maybe that is the size he can potentially be if he keeps growing or something?

That would certainly be news to everyone in Sparta! Every report that I have seen has him in the neighborhood of about 6'7" and about 200 pounds.

If Shaw picks MSU I will understand. Izzo is the best coach in the country, and his program up there is unbelievable. But if Shaw picks DePaul over us I will be very confused. He isn't going to win there, he probably won't even make the tournament there. Think it through Shaw, DePaul isn't the place you want to be.

I don't think so. I think Dee and Augie were the last Illini players that did.
