I agree. Banks is a kid that will be very good. He's a kid we need to lock up before the big boys see him.

Does anyone have any updates regrading Pocic's and Tuley-Tillman's visit over the weekend? I am assuming it was an unofficial visit. If so, are they allow to talk to any of the coaches and/or players?

And yes they are allowed to talk to the coaches and players. The only time they can't is if it is a dead period, and even then I think they can if they make a campus visit or something like that. |

I hope that since the Coaches are out and about that they make a trip to Lake Central HS in Indiana. They have two big time recruits in 2013 RB David Yancey, and Northwest Indiana Times defensive player of the year 2014 DE Gelen Robinson son of Glen "Big Dog" Robinson.

There has been nothing but positive feedback from the juniors who visited this past weekend. Pretty funny quote my guy Ryan Easterling got from Simeon junior Reggie Spearman for those of you who have scout premium.

Always hard to guess that kind of stuff, plus it doesn't seem like any of our top targets are close to a decision.
Here's some guys I think are underrated as of now and will see their recruitment pick up in the Spring: Colin McGovern http://rivals.yahoo.com/highschool/f...cGovern-132914 Devante Lee http://rivals.yahoo.com/highschool/f...nte-Lee-130908 Ruben Dunbar http://rivals.yahoo.com/illinois/foo...CVk9EpAXs6sJB4 Justin Corbett http://rivals.yahoo.com/illinois/foo...ngNOlehLY6sJB4 |

How do you think we are setting up for the 2013 class? I know it's obviously very early but just your general feelings/sense on where it's headed. Thanks. |

The state of Illinois will be a huge priority for the 2013 class. The staff has made it known to these kids that locking up the state is a big deal to them, and the recruits like to hear that stuff. I like we could definitely end up with a top 30 class next year.

Does anyone know if he plans on playing baseball in college? He would be a nice get for that reason as well, as he could walk on, and it really helps the non-revenue sports to get production from guys who are not on Scholarships. The main downside would be him missing out on the Spring practices and I'd imagine it would be tougher for a QB to miss those practices than someone like Kyle Hudson. |

I just have a feeling that next years class we will have a lot of Illinois kids in that class...partly due to the talent of kids in the state but to send a message to the future classes that illini wants u first and they are top priority....with zook he was more interested of the 2nd tier southern kids

Reggie Spearman highlight tape, 2013 OLB. Has decent closing speed, but he is very disruptive and very versatile. Not only does he play OLB but he has played MLB and is comfortable playing with his hand on the turf.
