I'm kind of worried at least a little about the Pirates. Not too bad a record (5-7) and they are capable of giving the Cards some problems. Hope the Birds can take at least 2 out of three from them, and THEN I'll worry about the Cubs.

I know my favorite team sucks. I can live with it because I know we're headed in the right direction.
It's too bad some Cardinal fans excessively care about how the Cubs are doing and spew their nonsense all over. I had a great experience with Cardinal fans last weekend at Busch, we talked baseball as baseball fans. Some people just can't handle it I guess. |

I agree with you, but there are just as many (if not more) Cubs fans that excessively care about how the Cardinals are doing. Neither fan base is without extremists.

Of course. I still think the Cards/Cubs is a friendly rivalry. I just wish some certain individuals would save up hatred for the Reds or Brewers, no need to kick us while we're down.

Yeah, for me it's the Reds. I am rooting for the Cubs big time this weekend.

I am just voicing my opinion on what shirt I like in the friendly Cardinals vs. Cubs rivalry. No need to take it out of hand on this internet message board. Furthermore, I was letting you know that I do not in fact own or wear a "cork" shirt. Instead I proudly wear my World Series champion shirt, sir. I don't have anything against the Cubs, and I was only supporting the St. Louis Cardinals in the "2012 St. Louis Cardinals Topic" thread.

it would suck to be a Cubs fan. I'd be bored by the end of spring if Cardinals sucked as bad as the Cubs. the physical therapist doing my therapy on my shoulder is a die hard Cubs fan. but he has said he has given up on them, it's too painful to watch. yep would suck to be a Cubs fan. |

But enough about the Bruins. This is a St. Louis Cardinals board. Good game last night -- glad Schumaker didn't re-injuire himself. Hope Westbrook can lead them to another win tonight! |

Birds win another series. Keep this up and it'll be another very good year.
