(CBS News) Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus received a football scholarship offer from University of California, Los Angeles, meaning he could potentially be teammates with Diddy's son, who committed to the school last year.

While Broadus is only entering his sophomore year of high school, his Southern California high school confirmed via Twitter that he in fact received an offer from UCLA.

"Sophomore Cordell Broadus Offered UCLA Football Scholarship," tweeted Diamond Bar High School.

If the 6-foot-2-inch, 185-pound sophomore decides to be a Bruin, he will be join Justin Combs, son of entertainer Sean "Diddy" Combs, who accepted a full athletic scholarship to play with UCLA's football team this fall.

Snoop has been on the sidelines of a lot of USC games. Wouldn't be shocked if USC even offered him at least a preferred walkon spot
