I ventured over to the Penn State Scout board earlier this afternoon, and wow some of their fans are in total denial still. It is so sad.
A majority of them understand what happened is bad, that Joe Pa is a major scum bag etc. But some of them still believe Paterno is a Saint and did nothing wrong. So sad. |

No need to kick a man when he is dead, this is old news. The off the cuff comment that Joe Pa is a scum bag seems way over the top for someone of your posting character and you are above that with all respect.

Are you suggesting that someone who harbored a child molester for over 10 years is in some way not a scumbag?

Dude relax, he was saying that the PSU fans are refering to him as one....not Kramer. "Off the cuff" may seem a little to much.

FWIW, I too have taken a peak at some of the Penn State boards last night and today, and I agree that many of them are in total denial. I think the most interesting thing is they are talking about trying to pressure the BOT to try getting out of the consent decree on the grounds that they never voted on it. Some of them really think that if they had a hearing in front of the NCAA that everybody would see that all they actors at Penn State (except Sandusky) are really just great people and this was all a misunderstanding (except the part about Sandusky going to jail--that's the one thing everyone agrees on, obviously).
