Guess who tops this list. Some think of him as seafood.

Only surprised by Dave Rice. He has taken big program castoffs and made a solid program down there, maybe I just have my head in the sand, but if there was a place where cheating probably wouldn't seem out of the ordinary it would be Vegas.

You wouldn't have to pay me a sack of money to go to UNLV.

I might well have gone there if my Mom hadn't put the kibosh on it.

The counter-attacks on Parrish by fans are pricelessly transparent.

The CBS forii are already UK central... what a great article for rustling up the chaff to embarrass themselves!

Scott Drew getting 34% is laughable. Baylor just got done with a two year rectal exam by the NCAA and all they found was text messages that are now legal. I think the biggest issue is how he always comes off as "holier than thou." That pisses people off and I don't blame them. But cheating? Highly doubtful.

Are you nuts? I put Scott Drew up there with Calipari when it comes to being sleazy. It's a big red flag to me when all of a sudden Baylor starts hauling in Top 5 recruiting classes out of nowhere. Why do you think Drew's name hasn't come up anywhere in coaching searches? I don't think AD's will touch him with a ten foot pole.

It's disappointing that there's no quote about Crean.

My thoughts exactly. It's a bummer he was the only one listed who didn't get a quote tied to him.

They really should have called that poll "what other coaches make us jealous?". I know UConn has had recruiting violations twice (1996 and 2010), but I don't know about Calhoun's role. Calipari has one real violation: paying Reggie Rose to travel with the team. The rest of this list is a waste of time. Obviously Howland is inept as a leader, but that has nothing to do with his coaching. I still don't get the whole Scott Drew hate. Other than maybe Calhoun I would feel comfortable with any of these coaches running any program I like in a clean manner. If possible, CBS should follow these coaches to make sure they don't sign any 5* recruits. As far as they are concerned, the only way to sign top talent is to cheat. Thus if they ever sign 5* talent, they are cheating. This applies not only to the school, but to the program. If a program hasn't signed very many top recruits recently, they should automatically be put on probation if they ever sign a 5* recruit.

Are you familiar with the definition of perceived?

I was suprised to not see Thad Matta on there, but maybe the assumption is that OSU basketball has to be clean based on what happened before he got there.

The NCAA conducted a multi-year investigation into the Baylor basketball program that finished this year. The only thing they could find were texting violations which are now permissible under new NCAA rules. If you ask the Top 25 players that went to Baylor (Quincy Miller, Perry Jones, etc) they would say Drew was the first coach to reach out to them and never let up. As far as the Top 5 recruiting class comment, the 2012-2013 class is the first to break the top 10 for Baylor.

I think the biggest issue is that people don't like when a perennial loser because a powerful program. If the NCAA's investigation unearthed major violations I would put Drew at the top of the list, but almost nothing was found.

And if you ask Hanner Perea, Drew REALLY never let up. The NCAA, with allllllllllllll their investigative powers, couldn't find anything. Shocking.

The FoxSports.com article included a copy of a text message that was sent from the Baylor assistant Mark Morefield to Huss, saying that Baylor had the power to deport Perea if he did not go to Baylor.

“I guarantee you if he does [commit to another school] he will be in Colombia for the spring and summer and next year. Don’t forget it,” the text message said.

Mark Morefield was fired shortly thereafter. And rightfully so. He said the text was a joke but Drew apparently didn't think it was funny.
