Yes, five Illini on the tour although that assumes I don't sharpen up my game between now and then. Let's just leave it at five for now.

Both Guthrie and Langley are there ahead of schedule. Also fortunate for Langley - this is the last year you can go directly to the tour from Q school. Next year it would just get you web.com status.

Does Affrunti have his tour card for this coming season? I thought he had it in 2011, but hadn't heard much of him since then.

He got some kind of a waiver to keep his card for another year because he was injured last season:

"He’s still a PGA Tour member, but is on a major medical exemption that will continue for awhile.

"'I determine when I come back,' said Affrunti. 'They allow you five Nationwide rehabilitation starts. I expect to make some of those in August or September, then go to Q-School in hopes of improving my status.'

"Even with Tour membership, it’s tough to get into tournaments and Affrunti will have seven months to earn enough money to keep his card once he returns to the circuit. He doesn’t want to rush things, and doesn’t expect to play in a PGA Tour event until 2013."

Continuing to rehab a shoulder injury. The TOUR rookie failed to make any appearances this season and will carry over on a Qualifying Tournament/Web.com Tour Medical Extension. Coupled with 2011 earnings of $18,837, will have 13 events in 2013 to earn $649,329, equaling No. 125 from 2011.
