Legends or Murphy's (both on Green). Might as well take advantage of the fact that the students are mostly not back so you should actually be able to find parking.
If you want the convenience of a parking lot, there is a Meatheads on Neil (between Kirby and Stadium Drive). |

I was personally underwhelmed by Legends (thought the burger was bland), so I recommend Murphys if you are going on campus. I've had theirs also and liked it more.

There are a lot now. A lot of good ones to, leaving out the chains I have my top 5.
1) Farrens - it's gourmet style but regardless of that its the best burger in town. 2) Billy Barooz - quality burger in a good atmosphere 3) Crane Alley - just another burger and beer joint really 4) Smoke que and brew - for a smokehouse they have a GREAT burger 5) Black Dogs - Smoke and ale house with great food and drinks None of these are on campus, I would avoid being on campus on a weekday, especially when there's better options off campus. __________________ virtus junxit mors non separabit ![]() |

To Josh's point, you'll always get better food off campus. Students aren't financially able to support, nor discerning enough, for good food to be required.

Iron Post is my favorite burger in town. Farren's is really good too, you can't go wrong with any of the ones Josh posted above.
