What a great game that just tipped off in Bloomington. I predict that MSU wins narrowly.

A combined 26 pts before we've even reached the first TV timeout! Hoosiers tied with Sparty right now.

This is real basketball. Up and down, good finesse play, lots of skill and athleticism on hand for both teams. Bo Ryan could take notice. Slow-it-down crawl ball is not fun to watch, even for UW fans who don't enjoy watching paint dry.

What is Michigan State wearing? Hope when we get our re-brand from Nike we don't get an alternate that looks like this.

I actually like the Sparty uniforms and I'm pretty old-school. There are 8-12 teams that are wearing them this year, but I don't believe we are one of them.

Not a fan of Izzo, but he puts on quite a show. He's a pro when it comes to working the officials. Makes some great faces, sometimes looks like his head will explode, kinda reminds me of Keady back in the day. Man could he get fired up.

Zeller is overrated IMO! T Hansbrough was 10x the player he is and yet Zeller is considered a lottery pick while Hansbrough it seems was considered a great college player but maybe not a great NBA prospect. What gives?
It feels like every year the NBA picks through the college game and makes it thinner and thinner with talent each year outside of the top 25 freshman that have to play. Even though 75% of the players drafted are not ready to play in the league. |

21 pt, 7 reb, 6 stl & 3 blocks for Oladipo. That's showing up for a big game.

Thought MSU got some tough calls against them down the stretch. In particular the half court time-line call and the travel call when no one even had posession were bad. I thought the last minute charge call could have gone either way. Didn't watch the entire game closely but if the calls were as lopsided as they were the last few minutes, MSU should have won this one.

Not counting FTs, Iowa has put the ball through their own basket 4 times. They also got a goaltending call that counted for a 5th basket.

Best player on the team by far and he will have the better pro career than Zellars. Guys like Oladipo are hard to come by. He does so many things, can run the point can rebound, drive , plays tough D, and becoming a 3point threat. There are numerous 6-10 post players just like Zellars, I don't see what sets him above others in his position. Don't get me wrong he's a great player but I think being from a basketball family, preseason #1, ect.. just a perfect storm of hype. Plus Dickie V loves him. I just don't see him standing out in the NBA, more of a college legend.

Correct, we are not one of them, but USC is...whoever decided they should be probably no longer works at Nike.

Is it me or does Gesell sound like the sort of guy who'd have you ship him your used iPhone, shatter the glass, give you 10 bucks for it and put it up on eBay for $200?
