Our fan base is rightfully grizzled and beaten down, so I get the constant hedging...

That being said, I cannot wait to celebrate Ayo's signing and I look forward to seeing him play on the court. This kid and family did exactly in words and actions what we've pined for for so long - stayed loyal to our state school and emphatically believe we can win @UI.

This season begins the upward climb, and I'm over-the-moon with the thought of watching these guys over the next few years:
Smith
Ayo
DaMonte
Trent
TJL
Finke
Black
AJ
Gregggggggg

Who's Next??
ILL!!

I am guessing that this month's thread will not have over 1.7M views.

Correct - we have "moved on" but not with the prior enthusiasm.

I think I have four years of eligibility left, but unfortunately I think my growth plates are closed and shrinking

Too many other plates

I don't want to speak for anybody else but I'm more enthused now than I was two weeks ago.

I think I fit BU's system well in that I can act as the non example. I would be good for regular teachable moments for the rest of the players.

Same. If you would have told me 2-3 weeks ago that we would have Ayo and nobody else, (not knowing all the drama with THT would happen), I would have been on board with that.

Your trolling has reached an elite level. It is difficult to troll 80% of the time, and have people bite on over 50% of your troll posts.
