Not sure where to post this, but it was nice to see Kendrick Nunn had a stellar night for his first post Illini basketball game. 36 points, 6 assists, 5 steals. He is going to eat the Horizon league defensives.

Tilmon appears to be feasting on ISU.

Indiana got blown out at home against Indiana St. Maybe our scrimmage loss to them wasn't so bad after all. And Northwestern pulled off a nail biter against Loyala.

Mildcats didn't start the season with a roar.

"We don't need him"

"He won't even start at Mizzou"

It's only one game, but he actually looks underrated. Playing like a top 10 recruit.

Looking forward to the Mizzou game. Should be a good one.

LOL @ Indiana losing to Indiana State.

Tweet I saw: "Indiana State beats Indiana, 90-69. Indiana State coach Greg Lansing makes $250K a year. Indiana coach Archie Miller makes $279K A MONTH."

Wake Forest lost to Georgia Southern and Indiana got destroyed by Indiana St.

We really should be rooting for both those teams to boost our RPI, but you have to admit it feels pretty good.

They barely squeaked out a 77-75 win over Loyola (MD). Are we actually going to win on Dec 1?

Keep in mind Iowa State lost a lot. They lost Monte Morris, Deonte Burton, Matt Thomas and Naz Mitrou-Long. They were all double digit scorers and all Big 12-First team players and all Big 12- second players.

Very possible they don't even make the NCAA tournament this year. Just saying.

This. Well said. Also, don't forget...he was starring in his collegiate debut against a Power-5 team who happen to be the defending Big !2 Tournament Champions.

Although I would have preferred Wake Forest to have win against GSU to better our RPI should (when) we beat them, I can't help but smile considering seeing that WF forum's reaction to Ayo committing over to us.

Kendrick Nunn had 36 points and 6 assists too help Oakland beat Fort Wayne. Many of their games are on the ESPN Networks FYI.

From OG Boards:
Interested in what people think our ACTUAL attendance will be tonight. Isn't women's Soccer hosting a game tonight? That will probably draw more students than hoops, no?
6,000 to 6,500?
that wouldn't be awful. Hoping some students show up.
From ESPN:
Attendance: 7,802
53%
Capacity: 14,665

Attendance was actually higher than was some posters on their board were expecting.

Are those number you are quoting from the Soccer match or the basketball game?

Not enough VIBES, apparently.

Mark these words. Danny Manning will be on the hot seat within 2 years.

The magnitude of Indiana’s loss was equally amazing.

Indiana had won 19 straight season openers and 32 consecutive home openers. Miller became the first Indiana coach to lose his first game since Everett Dean in 1924. The 21-point loss marked the second-worst opening night defeat in school history, matching the margin from a 39-18 defeat at home against Wisconsin in 1914.

ooooh that smell....the smell of loosiers death around you !!!!!

Perusing the B1G results from yesterday, We did not have the largest margin of victory yesterday. That honor goes to Rutgers, who had a 51-13 lead at halftime over something called City College of New York. Final was 94-38

Precisely. I looked at the box score and realized that Indiana's roster is kinda garbo. Archie won't keep it that way.
