I just popped open a bottle of Riesling, also going to enjoy the game from my family room. Have fun out, Irish!

I'm really pumped for this game. I hope to see big things from Tisdale tonight.

Thanks Irish! Not as bad as it may appear to live here, but I do make it back to Illinois often. Parents insist on it since I'm in Iowa now as opposed to 6 years in the Carolinas. Enjoy your beverage. Or should I say beverages!!!!

Gotta win this one.

MSU is pounding Iowa at Iowa.

Also, Clemson is getting killed at VaTech, so this will affect our RPI a bit.

Almost game time...

GO ILLINI ! !

Can Davis guard Carter, Bostick, Johnson, Sampson, Adul Shamala, or even T. Bush. Will Calvin have to guard any of those bigger players is Davis Can't. Who does Keller match up well against? I couldn't name anyone. Can our guards hold down Westbrook(chet yes) or Nolen(tough assignment for either trent of D mace). Can we get a hand in the three point shooters face(esp. Hoffarber). Will they go small with Carter Johnson, and Bostick along with pg's Westbrooke and Nolen. Which really isn't small considering their sf, pf, anc c are all over 6'7 and all are long. Will they go big with Sampson and Iverson along with Johnson? Will they use the length of D. Joseph on the press to disrupt us. Will J. Williams score his patented 6-10 points versus us? I think we win this one bc we know how to beat MN. GO ILLINI!!!
No he'll guard Colton Iverson. I didn't see that coming. You're a tricky one coach Weber

L. Westbrook- I want to say he is a former Oklahoma player and transfered when lavender did. He is a shorter sg with a good build and can get it going quick. I wouldn't say he is a good athlete but average.

B. Hoffarber- Three point specialist with a high B ball IQ.

Adul Shamala- Experienced player who has seen playing time diminish but can shoot it and has some size for a sf.

D. Joseph- Freshman pg getting eased into the college game. Good size and vision but still makes freshman mistakes. I think strength is an issue also.

P Carter- Juco Transfer who is just now coming into his own. Only a Soph. Long and athletic and can really play D.

D. Bostick- Juco transfer but is a junior unlike Carter. Played at SoutWestern in IL and was known to be a scorer. This is another player who is earning minutes with his D and Scoring ability. Good size.

C. Iverson- Big kid who is strong physically for only being a freshman. Rebounding and easy looks are this kids game right now.

R. Sampson. More of a finess guy. Likes to take elbow jumpers and play in the high low with Iverson. Last two games though Iverson and Sampson have taken a back seat when Minny wants to turn up the heat on the press. Great size and good athlete.

D. Johnson- Lead team in scoring a few games but now with guys like Carter, Bostick playing more, he doesn't have to shoulder the load with Nolen and Westbrook. Long and a pretty good athlete.

J. Williams- Senior who is now lost in the mix. He plays a little but is a big boy who has put on 10 points on us before. Just can't find minutes for him esp if they're pressig.

T. Busch- Transfer from Cali. Big guy for a sf and can shoot it. Main reason why they came back and beat Iowa. Hustles all the time.

They looked horrible playing vs. Iowa and won by going small with Busch, Carter and Johnson instead of Iverson and Sampson. The minutes get spread out pretty good on this team and most guys play over 10 mpg except Williams. I've seen where Hoffarber, Busch, and Joseph haven't played more than 10 but they are usually over 7 mpg. They employed the smaller line up at points in the PSU game that really got them going. PSU couldn't shoot the ball that night either. They are a good team but I think we can take them down. Didn't get to see a lot of the Wisky/Minny game but Bohanan shouldn't have taken that lay up. IMO he lost the game by doing so.

Just thought I would move this to this thread. Joseph has gained some confidence the last few games and like stated Nolen is quick off the dribble but does turn it over a lot or take bad shots.

Coach should of looked at my scouting report

Maybe he should have, although you are wrong about Westbrook, he committed to the Gophers out of high school. You might have been thinking of Lawrence McKenzie who transferred from Oklahoma to Minnesota a few years ago. McKenzie graduated last year.

Somebody looking at their crystal ball, perhaps?
