Kohl Sweet Kohl

Illinois turned a tight ballgame into a surprising runaway tonight against Wisconsin at the Kohl Center. With their 66-51 victory, the Illini grabbed sole possession of first place in the Big Ten (6-2) and become the first team in college basketball to reach 20 wins (20-2). If some of this sounds somewhat familiar, it was nearly one year ago (Jan 25, 2005) that the 2005 Illini won their 20th game (to go 20-0) with a victory against the Badgers and break their 38-game home win streak at the Kohl Center.
