Weber Lands D.J. Richardson and Brandon Paul (and Joseph Bertrand! ) on Eve of Illini Madness

What's this, good news on the basketball recruiting front? Bruce Weber received oral commits today from two of the top players in the 2009 class, D.J. Richardson and Brandon Paul. The news should amp up the excitement surrounding tomorrow's Illini Madness, the official start of the 2007-08 Illinois basketball season. A special pink Illini shirt is required to attend Illini Madness, which will be used to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer. Sales of the shirts have reached 15,000. The pink Illini Madness shirts can be purchased at Gameday Spirit or on the west side of Assembly Hall tomorrow night.
