Zook said he and his team are embarrassed by the Missouri loss. The criticism, he said, naturally follows the success Illinois had two seasons ago, when they were 9-3 and in the Rose Bowl. The team followed that up with a 5-7 record last season that left coach and team under pressure to improve.
