Season may be on verge of disaster

Juice Williams looked like he'd just stepped from a sound stage where Wes Craven is filming a horror movie of his life.
He wore a blank stare, painted on with equal parts confusion, disappointment and fear of the unknown.
"It's like a nightmare and you can't wake up," Williams said Saturday, moments after Illinois had lost to Ohio State 30-0. He was talking to a group of reporters, but he was talking to himself, too, searching for a way to describe what's wrong with the Illini football offense he helps direct.
"I'm still in awe about everything that's going on. But that's the reality. It's happening and we have to do something about it."
