Zook: 'We're in a little slump'

Illinois turned the ball over three times, including a critical interception on its first play. The Illinois defense held up OK in the first half, allowing two long field goals and one Ohio State touchdown drive that included two 15-yard penalties.
"I'm more tired of saying it than you are of hearing it," Illinois coach Ron Zook said. "We didn't play, once again, like I feel like we're capable of playing.
"Of course, everybody's written us off and that's fine. I would too if I was in your shoes. We've got to go play and we're better than we're playing. For whatever reason, we're not playing a 60-minute game, we're not playing a consistent game. We do a lot of good things and then we shoot ourselves in the foot."
