Does one win make a season?

If we could only win one game this year, I'll bet a majority of fans would have picked a victory over Michigan. To a large degree, that's what made the victory so satisfying. It went a long way of removing the bad taste, but it did more than that. The win against Michigan was big--in terms of morale, confidence, fan satisfaction, recruiting, and resetting the expectations. But we are still 2-6 and no matter what happens with the remaining games, this season will be viewed as a conundrum, a team so inexplicable that it defies coherent analysis, making it almost impossible to know what to expect next week or next year. I've given up trying, but I have to say--I'll remember and cherish this victory for a long time, no matter what happens the rest of the year.
