Nathan Scheelhaase

"Last year, the Illinois QBs combined to hit 55.6 percent with a 15-12 ratio," Steele said. "No matter who started this year you had to figure on improved numbers. He is a solid college QB with good arm strength and mobility and 4.53 speed. Not a great spring game, but he was the clear leader of the offense in the spring. They can only get better play out of the position this year and Illinois underachieved on offense last year with just 24.2 ppg."
