Ron Guenther: Big Ten divisions will be based on 10-year RPI, league will eventually move to a 9-game football schedule

-Divisions will be based explicitly on 10-year RPI with the goal of creating parity between divisions (perhaps only 5-year, but probably longer). The question is whether these are permanent divisions or will be revisited every so often to maintain parity.

-It may take a couple of years, but the league will move to a 9-game schedule.
