Michigan State is more healthy, more balanced in terms of run and pass, and more upbeat after inspiring defeats of Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Michigan. If you're a Spartan fan who believes in superstition, you're thinking but, be still now, don't dare mention that Michigan State has a chance to go unbeaten ... with Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue and Penn State providing the last half of the schedule. Don't scoff. They'll be favored in every game except the trip to Iowa.
