Six games down, six games to go

This team is built one way and one way only - ball possession offense, front seven domination defense. And when you build your team that way, you need two things: long, clock-chewing drives (with 3rd down conversions), and a fresh front 7. This plan worked to perfection in the Penn State game. Offense held on to the ball, defense was fresh, and we pounded them. In all three of our losses, we've kept that plan together for the first half, only to watch it start to unravel in the 3rd quarter. And when the offense isn't putting together drives, the defense gets tired. And when a defense that relies on its front seven to control the line of scrimmage gets tired, our opponents start to move the ball. And when you add turnovers to the mix, we're done.
