Harry Caray's statue damaged

The bronze statue of Cubs broadcaster Harry Caray was damaged when a worker who was part of the crew making over Wrigley Field for the upcoming college football game accidentally struck the base with a vehicle. A crack now goes through the inscription, "Dedicated by the Chicago Cubs, April 12, 1999."
