Memory's a pain for Ade Adeyemo

If somebody had smacked into the Wrigley Field wall today, Ade Adeyemo would have felt their pain. Figuratively and literally.

The former Illini receiver is known as "The Guy Who Ran Into the Rose Bowl Barrier." And broke his ribs. And missed part of the 2003 season.

"It was painful," Adeyemo said.

Adeyemo, now working on his doctorate in education at Georgia, hears about the incident all the time.

"It gets annoying," Adeyemo said.
