December 9, 2010 9:58 AM
Baylor football fans are snapping up tickets to the Bears 2010 Texas Bowl game against Illinois on Dec. 29, as more than 11,600 of the school's 12,000-ticket allotment have already been sold for the program's first postseason appearance since 1994.
"I am very proud of the way that Baylor Nation has responded to the Texas Bowl by purchasing nearly our entire allotment of tickets in just three days," said Baylor Director of Athletics Ian McCaw. "Reliant Stadium is going to have a powerful presence of green and gold just like it did last March."
