Former #illini Stephen Bardo told us Illinois has to be University of Illinois, "not University of East Central Illinois."
Bardo thinks #illini need to re-establish ties across state, espeically Chicago where he says they've lost ground.
Bardo said next AD needs to focus on re-establishing those ties. Asked if he'd be next #illini AD, Bardo said he'd certainly listen.
