Early expectations for Illinois hoops 2011-12

Why I'm looking forward to the 2011-12 season:
1. Seven new faces (assuming Ibby is eligible).
2. A young, coachable group that will play defense.
3. A talent level that may be capable of challenging for the conference in another year.
4. A roster that fits Weber's coaching style.
Why I'm concerned about the 2011-12 season:
1. The conference will be tough with a national title contender in OSU, and many other ranked teams.
2. We will be young, and freshman are almost always over-rated.
3. The guys that look like potential stars are another year away IMO, except perhaps BP3.
4. While I think we can compete, it's always a big question mark when you lose 5 guys with a lot of minutes.
