Illini have history of finding players late

For six months, Millines thought he was going to West Virginia before changing his mind and settling on Marshall. But then Illinois, led by quarterbacks coach Jeff Brohm, entered the picture and gained a quick advantage with their positive approach.

"I liked the fact that Coach Zook wasn't talking about other coaches how the coaches from West Virginia and Marshall were talking about Coach Zook," Millines said. "Coach Zook came in and had me on the mind. He talked about me, academics and everything I was going to be doing, not about other coaches and other teams."
