Arizona State QB poses tall challenge for Illinois

Osweiler, who once committed to play basketball for Gonzaga, has a big arm to match his frame. He has completed 74.1 percent of his passes in two victories while racking up 307.5 passing yards per game with just one interception and five touchdowns.

Although giant-like, Osweiler has the ability to run, which reminds the Illini of Missouri and former quarterback Blaine Gabbert whom they faced in previous seasons. Osweiler has rushed seven times for 8.4 yards per carry.
