Illinois hoping to avoid another loss to Western Michigan

Current Illini seniors like A.J. Jenkins and Jack Cornell remember the sting of that Western Michigan loss well. So well it took offensive lineman Cornell all of about three minutes to silence the victorious Illini locker room last weekend and remind every player in the room, most of whom were not there.

"Trust me when I say this, we all know what happened (in 2008)," coach Ron Zook said this week. "Jack Cornell let us know what happened. We went up there and got embarrassed."
