Will Dan Persa look like a Heisman winner?
Probably not. Remember, the guy hasn't played since last November. There's bound to be some rust. Yes, he has been practicing with his teammates, so the timing will be decent. But he hasn't gone against live competition in a game. Illinois knows how important he is to the Northwestern offense. Vic Koenning had a plan to control Arizona State's Brock Osweiler, which worked well. You have to figure he will have a scheme to deal with the elusive Persa. You really don't want to be the teams that face Persa later in the season when he gains comfort.
