Game 7: Ohio State at #16/15 Illinois game notes

The Illinois/OSU game will be nationally televised by ABC (ESPN in some markets - coverage map released on Wednesday) with an air time of 2:30 p.m. CDT. Bob Wischusen (play-by-play), Bob Davie (color analyst) and Heather Cox (sideline) will call the action with Bob Goodrich producing. The game also will be streamed live at ESPN3.com.

# At 6-0, Illinois is off to its best start since the 1951 team opened the season 7-0 en route to a 9-0-1 record and a share of the national championship (Boand Poll). The Illini are one of 13 remaining unbeaten teams in the nation and one of just seven that are 6-0 and bowl-eligible.

# The Illini have won seven in a row dating back to last season, which is the third-longest current streak in the nation and is the longest UI winning streak since the 2001 Big Ten championship team also won seven straight. An Illinois team has not won eight consecutive games since the 1983 Big Ten champs won 10 in a row.
